Vila Chã Beach is located on the coastline bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, parish of Vila Chã, municipality of Vila do Conde, district of Porto, Northern Portugal
 
Vila Chã Beach has a small sandy area with several rocky areas and infrastructure that provides all the support that bathers may need.

On the beach there are some fishermen's boats that add color to the landscape. and the main activity that the local population engaged in was fishing, while still maintaining its characteristic traditional appearance.

Vila Chã Beach has an extensive sandy area and here it flows into Ribeira das Gatas, but adjacent to the neighboring beach to the north there is a rocky ridge that extends along its entire length.

The access areas for bathing between rocks are small and caution is recommended for those who are unfamiliar with the beach.

The old fishing beach in Vila Chã in the municipality of Vila do Conde was considered one of the best beaches in the North of Portugal, occupying fourth place in the ranking.

Vila Chã beach is made up of a small stretch of sand surrounded by rocks which helps to keep the place quiet and sheltered from the wind.

The surrounding areas contain infrastructure to support bathing, such as a children's playground just a few meters from the sand.

On this beach you can see small, typical two-story houses and boats with waving sails where in the morning you can buy the freshest fish.

Vila Chã beach has excellent quality water for swimming, diving and fishing.

On the beach, holidaymakers can sunbathe or take a walk and see the deep blue sea with seagulls resting on the sand and feel the Atlantic breeze on their face.

Due to the configuration of its coastline and the presence of rocks, the beach creates excellent conditions for children to swim.

Access to the beach is via wooden walkways raised in long sections, a ramp and stairs to access the sand.

The beach has a car park, showers, bar, awnings/parasols rental, beach with lifeguard during the bathing season, Blue Flag and Gold Flag award in 2016/2017.
